COVERT SECRECY 

Air America was a covert passenger and cargo airline owned and operated by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from 1950 to 1976. It provided logistical support, covert airdrops, and medical transport during the Vietnam War and the Secret War in Laos. 

The CIA's Secret Airline

Originally established in 1946 as Civil Air Transport (CAT), the airline acted as a front to supply anti-communist forces in Southeast Asia with weapons, food, and personnel without directly implicating the U.S. military. 

Motto: "Anything, Anywhere, Anytime, Professionally".

Operations: Pilots flew missions into remote, dangerous terrain in Laos, Cambodia, and South Vietnam.

Aircraft: Flew a large fleet of planes and helicopters with civilian markings for plausible deniability.
